AITOR, fully comitted to suplying customers with high quality products, has implemented a Quality Assurance System in order to guarantee that the requirements demanded by its customers are duly met.

This Quality Assurance System defines the various requirements and controls to which our products are subjected in order to demonstrate their high degree of quality throughout the various stages of production: procurement, manufacture, handling, etc...This can be summarised basically as follows:

· External Supply: Aitor obtains its external supplies only from suppliers which have been previously certified and approved by the Internal Quality Committee.

· Take-Over: Incoming raw materials and/or products, wether semi-finished or made by external companies, are subjected to the relevant Acceptance Inspection following specific control guidelines which set out the characteristics to be checked, the type of sampling, acceptance and rejection criteria, etc.

· Manufacture: The products are subjected to constant checks during the internal manufacturing process, set out in the relevant "Instruction Sheets for Process Control ".

· Final inspection: In this product stage the products are again subject to the relevant control. Checks on certain specific characteristics ( finish, performance, cleanness...) are carried out; if the results are satisfactory, the products are approved and classified as O.K. for despatch to the customer.

In conclusion, we can state that the Quality Assurance System in place complies with the requirements set out in the International Standart ISO-9.001.2000 . As evidence of this,Aitor holds the Registered Firm Certificate, granted by BUREAU VERITAS QUALITY INTERNATIONAL.
